What is a "Sweet Spot"?
Did you know it is possible to be eligible for THREE (3) Good Idea Club Monthly Drawings with just one Good Idea submission? With our look-back period, most suggestions are eligible for only two of these drawings, but occasionally the dates align in such a way that you can potentially earn prizes in a third as well! May 16 through the 20th is one such period - which we call "Sweet Spots."
How it works:
If you submit an idea this week (the earlier the better), it will finish the commenting period and be assigned to your Responding Manager exactly one week later (May 23 through the 30th). If the Responding Manager accepts your suggestion as a Good Idea and leaves an initial response before the Monthly Drawing date (May 27 at 11:00am), you'll be eligible for May, June, and July's Monthly Drawings!
What if my Responding Manager doesn't accept the suggestion or respond before the deadline?
First and foremost, make sure your suggestion aligns with the Forum Rules and Regulations, specifically for "Valid Good Ideas." Good Ideas that are fully formed and well-written are also easier for Responding Managers to make the judgment call and respond to. That being said, Responding Managers are only required to answer within the 14-day window after they've been assigned the idea... which could be outside of the timeframe for Drawing eligibility. If you have a suggestion and want to try and hit the Sweet Spot, reaching out and working with your direct supervisor to get it closed out sooner will definitely help!
