New Fitness Benefit Policy Option, Plus Donation Option

Whirley-DrinkWorks! TeamMates,

As a result of a Good Idea suggested by Elke Elder, we now have a couple new options for additional reimbursement of any service utilized under our Fitness Benefit Policy. Also take a look at the Good Idea Club Store for new options to donate to the Salvation Army Food Drive.

Fitness Program Benefit Reimbursement Credit

Since the health and well-being of TeamMates is of vital importance to the Company, it is our policy to provide financial assistance to regular, full-time and part-time TeamMates who join approved fitness organizations or wellness programs. You can use this additional credit to receive reimbursement on top of the portion provided by the Company!

This additional reimbursement credit for membership fees/dues in approved wellness programs will be made once per year only. TeamMates who pay on a monthly or quarterly basis to participate in eligible wellness programs may need to accumulate their receipts for payment to receive the maximum allowable reimbursement.

TeamMates will receive an email after purchase with details to claim their reimbursement. TeamMates must complete their introductory periods to be eligible for this benefit. For more information, please see the Fitness Policy Program.

Available in two convienent amounts (up to $220, and up to $300), you can use your coins to receive additional reimbursements for any approved expenditures under our Fitness Policy Program. Respectively, these should cover most of the TeamMate responsible portion of most Single and Family plans in our area.

Salvation Army Food Drive Donation

Whirley will once again be holding a food drive to help supply the Salvation Army’s food bank.  It will be held November 14 – December 16.

Please donate any non-perishable food items in the designated collection bins in each building.  Collection bins will be placed by the time clocks in all buildings.  Pick-ups will take place November 18; December 2, 9, & 16.

According to Feeding America, more than 48.8 million people face the threat of hunger daily in the United States. To help mitigate that threat, The Salvation Army serves more than 56 million meals to anyone in need through its many soup kitchens, sit-down meal programs, food pantries, mobile meals and community gardens. These nutritional meals assist homeless people of all ages, as well as individuals and families who may be down on their luck and in need of some extra assistance. For each coin donation through the Good Idea Club, Whirley-DrinkWorks! will donate double the face value to the effort!

Should you have any questions, please see:  Marie O’Leary (Harmar St); Bobbi Engstrom (Molding); or Danielle Kemick (Bakery Building).
